Welcome to our first newsletter of the new academic year, and the first one in which the #BeeWell survey will be delivered in both Greater Manchester and Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton. We can’t wait to work with almost 300 schools this year, and learn even more about young people’s wellbeing to share with our Coalition of Partners. Get involved in the Plan-UK and #BeeWell community of practice on gender & wellbeing, this time focused on social media use
The next session of the Plan UK and #BeeWell community of practice on gender and wellbeing is fast-approaching, after the brilliant last session held on body-image in July!
Next, the group will be virtually joining up with Plan’s Cambridge & Peterborough group to look at social media use, gender and young people’s wellbeing. As always, this will be an interactive session to share your experiences and best-practice, whilst learning more about the topic. In case you missed it, #BeeWell announces first National Director will join in October 2023
Last month, we were delighted to announce that #BeeWell’s first National Director will lead #BeeWell from mid-October 2023 onwards. We are thrilled that James Robertson has agreed to lead #BeeWell in the coming years as, together, we seek to make the wellbeing of young people across our country everybody’s business by 2030.
