The #BeeWell programme is delivered in partnership with secondary schools to find out what affects young people’s wellbeing and what can be done to enhance it. Since 2021, we’ve listened to the voices of more than 85,000 young people across Greater Manchester and Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton.
Greater Manchester is where #BeeWell began in 2019 and we continue to have an exceptional response from Greater Manchester’s enthusiastic and proactive young people, who remain at the centre of everything we do.
The programme expanded into Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton in 2023. Young people from across the region played an important role in developing the #BeeWell survey for local delivery and over 22,000 young people completed the survey in the first year.
#BeeWell believes that young people’s wellbeing is as important as their academic attainment.
Using a co-designed survey, we listen to the voices of as many young people as possible; publish the results privately to schools and publicly by neighbourhood; and drive action across society to improve young people’s wellbeing.
#BeeWell’s Mission is to see this approach implemented nationally.
Safeguarding is a priority across all #BeeWell work – read our safeguarding policies and procedures.
#BeeWell survey data is published annually at a neighbourhood level, which enables targeted local action that supports young people’s wellbeing.
