What do we ask of schools?

We ask schools to facilitate the delivery of the #BeeWell survey during the autumn term. The survey: takes around 20-30 minutes for students to complete via an online form. For special schools and AP, there is a shorter version of the survey available or a symbol version.

What does #BeeWell provide in return?

We provide private reports outlining the results for each participating school and one-to-one follow-up meetings to help schools interpret and act on the data. We also provide ‘neighbourhood’ results – untraceable to participating schools and published according to where young people live – which our coalition of partners across civil society, local government and health commit to acting on.

About the survey

Delivered online, in school throughout October and November each year, students are asked about their life and their feelings, as well as health and routines, hobbies and entertainment, relationships, school, the environment and their views of the future.

From the following January, participating schools are provided with private reports and follow-up meetings to help schools interpret and act on the data, supporting them to develop targeted interventions to improve the wellbeing of students according to what their students want and need.

We also provide ‘neighbourhood’ results, untraceable to participating schools and published according to where young people live, which our coalition of partners are committed to acting on. Your school results are never shared with local authorities or other third parties.
