#BeeWell (HIPS) Coalition of Partners Meeting October 2026

Thank You for Joining Our October #BeeWell Coalition of Partners Meeting

Our local Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton (HIPS) #BeeWell Coalition of Partners meeting took place online on 20th October 2026, bringing together nearly 70 attendees from education, health, community and voluntary organisations across Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Southampton and Portsmouth. It was great to see so many partners join and participate in engaging discussions.

During the session, the #BeeWell HIPS team shared updates from our last CoP in March 2026. This included an introduction to the new #BeeWell National Co-Directors, Marie-Elise Howells and Laura Clayton, updates on school engagement, and an overview of our recent survey question review. Partners heard about the reasons for the questionnaire changes and how our young people shaped the new questions being introduced this year.

The meeting also celebrated the programme’s ongoing youth co-creation work, with a particular focus on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, which continue to be a key strength of #BeeWell in HIPS. We were also pleased to welcome Dr Stephanie Cahill, #BeeWell Quantitative Research Associate at the University of Manchester, who presented factors that predict school suspensions in Hampshire and Southampton using #BeeWell data. Research paper can be found here Breaking point: Identifying the factors that predict suspension from school .

There was strong engagement from partners throughout the session, reflecting the growing momentum and shared commitment to improving young people’s wellbeing across the region.
