We’re so pleased to launch a new project from our #BeeWell Youth Steering Group, exploring what ‘everyday success’ means to young people in Greater Manchester. As we have explored the latest #BeeWell headline findings, we have looked at different measures from the #BeeWell survey that might indicate success. Our Youth Steering Group wanted to highlight that, whilst to many people success means doing well at school, getting good grades, going to university, and getting a good job – these aren’t the only ways in which young people are successful.
This new project explores the different ways young people are celebrating success across Greater Manchester. We have looked at three data points from the #BeeWell survey, feeling good about yourself, having somewhere to talk about mental health worries and concerns, and doing volunteer work. We have also spoken to different young people across Greater Manchester about what success means to them.
