National Director
Prior to joining #BeeWell James was a civil servant for nearly 30 years, over half of that time in the senior civil service, working in the UK and overseas for a range of departments, including 15 years at HM Treasury. Most recently he was Deputy Director for Youth at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, where he was responsible for the National Youth Guarantee, the Youth Investment Fund and sponsorship of the National Citizen Service, as well as wider youth policy including youth social action. In his spare time he is amongst other things a keen cyclist and a school governor.
He has a BSc in Psychology from the Open University and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Cambridge.
