Our #BeeWell team in Greater Manchester were excited to get involved in the recent annual Stockport Youth Summit. The event brought together young people from across Stockport to share with the Council what they want to see happen for children and young people in the borough. This year, the L!sten group that create the event focused in on wellbeing, using #BeeWell data to support their planning and the themes on the day.
During the day we spoke to many young people, who took time to share their reflections with us about the local #BeeWell data. From their insights we gained an understanding on the importance of young people feeling free to express their ideas and opinions, having good places to go and feeling hopeful and optimistic for their future and the impact on wellbeing.
