Introducing the spotlight on headline findings

As we wrap up our first-quarter spotlight on inclusion where we explored key themes and insights, we’re now turning our focus to the headline findings.

Here are some of the key things we explored during our spotlight on inclusion:

  • The experiences of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in special schools: #BeeWell research of 2,500 young people in 42 special schools shows that while many feel well supported, experiences of wellbeing and school life vary by need, gender, and background, highlighting persistent inequalities and unmet needs.

In March, both the Greater Manchester and Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth, and Southampton #BeeWell areas published their 2024/25 headline findings reports.

Over the next quarter, we will be exploring these reports in more detail, alongside welcoming the national headline findings report in May.

Keep an eye on our social channels for a more in-depth look at the reports, actions from our coalition of partners, and the perspectives of our young people.
