Join us to find out more about supporting young people’s participation in arts, culture, entertainment and sports!
Hosted as part of our ‘spotlight on hobbies’ series.
Join the #BeeWell team and special guests from The University of Manchester, Factory International, Football Beyond Borders and Creatives Now for an absorbing webinar on creating SPACES (Supporting Participation in Arts, Culture, Entertainment and Sports) to improve young people’s wellbeing. The webinar will take place on Tuesday 8th October, 5.00 – 6.30pm.
This promises to be a fascinating event. We’ll be delving into the #BeeWell data and what it tells us about how patterns of young people’s participation in arts, culture, entertainment and sports, change as they get older, and how this influences their wellbeing. Our expert panelists will be sharing their views on how we can all support young people to increase participation in these activities, highlighting ongoing programmes of work, and crucially hearing from young people involved in these programmes about their experiences.
Joining us for the event will be talented Manchester-based poet SAF-S2E, who will be listening to the discussions and will write and share a new piece on wellbeing at the end of the event.
