North Devon and Torridge #BeeWell survey

In North Devon and Torridge, Kailo will be delivering the #BeeWell survey.

Kailo is a research and design initiative committed to addressing the root causes of young people’s mental health and wellbeing, in the places they live. Kailo takes a participatory approach to exploring local issues and co-designing ways to strengthen the foundations for young people’s mental health and wellbeing. They are informed by good data, evidence and understanding of the local system and context in which young people live and grow up.

Kailo is piloting a local adaptation of the #BeeWell survey in North Devon and Torridge in Autumn 2023. This will provide up-to-date and robust data on the wellbeing of young people across this area.

Participating schools will receive confidential aggregated results for their pupils and support to act on this evidence. Summaries of results from across the area will also be published, providing insights into wellbeing that may be relevant to local organisations and groups.

Implementation of the #BeeWell survey is supported by Devon County Council and the One Devon Integrated Care Partnership. Kailo and the #BeeWell survey are integrated components of One Northern Devon’s Health Equity Strategy development work.
