The #BeeWell survey window has closed for 2022!
We have been overwhelmed by the fantastic support of schools across Greater Manchester for a second year, and the hard work they have put in to make sure we have heard from as many young people as possible. Early data shows that we will have heard from 35,000 young people this year, across more than 145 schools! The survey window is still open for alternative provision and pupil referral units, who have until the 16th December to participate.
The findings from the Autumn 2022 surveys will be released in March 2023, and for the first time we will mark this significant occasion in the #BeeWell calendar with an in-person Coalition of Partners event. We’re really looking forward to bringing together as many of our Partners as possible, to plan how we can respond to what young people have told us about their wellbeing in 2022. Full invites and the venue will be sent to our Partners closer to the time. If you can’t make it in person, we’ll be following up with a virtual event shortly after the launch.
#BeeWell and Plan UK will launch a new sub-group of the #BeeWell Coalition, exploring the survey findings through a gendered lens
We are excited to kick-off the new sub-group of the #BeeWell Coalition in partnership with Plan UK, with our first meeting taking place virtually on the 18th January, 4-5:30pm. The group will come together to look at wellbeing through a gendered lens, in order to share expertise and best-practice across Greater Manchester.
If you are interested in taking part or want any further information, you can sign-up and find out more here.
More #BeeWell updates
Last month, we were delighted to join the launch of the Fair Education Alliance’s 2022 Report Card. The Report Card includes the recommendation that a wellbeing census should be rolled out nationally, in line with #BeeWell’s 10-year plan to collect and embed rigorous and consistent national data about various aspects of the wellbeing of young people.
And, in case you missed it, #BeeWell received support from leaders across Greater Manchester and the UK during this year’s survey window. Andy Burnham, Sir Michael Marmot, Geoff Barton and more all gave their support to #BeeWell – look back here.
