Crompton House celebrates mental health & wellbeing award, citing how they’ve used their #BeeWell data

An Oldham school has recently celebrated achieving a gold standard School Mental Health Award from Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health in Schools, citing how they have used #BeeWell as part of their wellbeing work. You can read more about it in the Oldham Chronicle, here: Oldham News | Main News | Crompton House scoops pioneering mental health award – Oldham Chronicle. [oldham-chronicle.co.uk]

It’s great to see how, working towards this award, the school was able to use their #BeeWell survey results to identify challenges, take action and celebrate improvements:

“A focal point of the school’s mental health and wellbeing provision is to develop a marked improvement in the emotional and psychological wellbeing of our students, as evidenced by the results of Crompton House’s recent Bee Well survey.

Students report lower levels of emotional and behavioural difficulties compared to national averages, demonstrating that they feel more supported and less anxious.

Efforts made to create an environment where students feel heard, supported, and valued have resulted in a more positive and inclusive school culture.”
