To achieve Oglesby Charitable Trust’s Vision for a community that is healthy, creative and self-sustaining and in which all members can participate fully, they seek out effective organisations that can demonstrate positive impact, both now, and into the future.
They make grants across five broad areas: Arts and Culture, Education, Environment, Medical Research and Social & Health Inequality. They are currently donating around £3.5m each year, and our grants range from under £1,000 to over £1m, delivering impact both locally and strategically. They have made donations of over £25m since we started out in 2001.
