Celebrating and acting upon the latest #BeeWell GM headline findings with partners

Over the past month, we’ve been holding events with our Greater Manchester partners to listen to the latest survey results, begin our action plan for how we can all act in response to the data and celebrate the fantastic activity already taken by our partners and young people over the past four years.

This began with our virtual headline findings briefing in early April. If you would like to familiarise yourself with the new data, you can watch the session back here:

Or, for a quick summary, view our notes here: #BeeWell GM Virtual Headline Findings Briefing Summary Notes.

And, on the 16th April we held a co-production event to bring together our partners and young people to explore the latest findings and begin creating an action plan in response. We sought individual commitments of how attendees planned to act in response to the data, and suggestions of what they thought needed to be done, too.  You can watch the video we shared at the event with some of these commitments below, and let us know if you’d like to contribute by contacting us at beewell@manchester.ac.uk!

We explored the new data under our new four mission statements for #BeeWell Greater Manchester, the themes of ‘Happy’, ‘Healthy’, ‘Safer & Stronger’ and ‘Successful’. Thank you to our partners at 42nd Street, GM Moving and GMYN for delivering fantastic workshops as part of the event!
