We are delighted to announce the recipients of the 2026 #BeeWell Youth Co-creation Grants, supporting innovative projects that will improve wellbeing outcomes for young people across Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton.
This year we received an incredible 34 applications, reflecting the passion and commitment of local organisations to supporting young people’s wellbeing. The quality of applications was exceptionally high, making the selection process a challenging one. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to every organisation that applied, as well as to the panel of young people and professionals whose insights and expertise helped determine the successful projects.
We are pleased to congratulate Artworks, Theatre for Life, Music Fusion, Youth Options, Motiv8, and Army Welfare Community Support, who will share almost £30,000 to deliver projects informed by young people’s priorities and insights from #BeeWell data.
The funded projects will focus on the key wellbeing priorities identified through our Youth Matters programme, including reducing discrimination, increasing opportunities for physical activity, improving self-esteem through creative approaches, enhancing health outcomes for LGBTQ+ and SEND young people, and strengthening young people’s sense of connection and belonging within their schools.
We look forward to following the progress of these projects and sharing the positive impact they have on young people and communities across the region over the coming year.
