Fran Slater, #BeeWell Youth Co-Creation Lead
Fran joined our team as Youth Co-Creation Lead for Greater Manchester in July 2024. Prior to that, he spent almost a decade working in various frontline support roles with young people for Barnardo’s, Manchester City Council, and mental health charity 42nd Street. During those roles he ran participation groups, supported various co-created social action projects, and facilitated several youth-led research projects which aimed to improve the lives of care experienced young people.
Fran previously worked in digital marketing and communication and has a BA (Hons) in English Literature and an MA in Creative Writing. He enjoys using the skills learnt in these roles and his studies to support young people to tell their story.
