Debbie Chase, Director of Public Health at Southampton City Council
Dr Debbie Chase is Director of Public Health, Strategic Lead Officer for leisure services and Operational Lead for the cost of living at Southampton City Council. Debbie is also a partner member of the Integrated Care Board for Hampshire and Isle of Wight and the Sector Led Improvement Lead Director of Public Health for the South East region.
Debbie’s background is in academic public health, with a strong focus on evidence-based practice, evaluation of innovation and evidence informed policy making.
Giving children and young people the best start in life is one of Debbie’s priorities, and she strives to shape a healthy environment in Southampton for people to live, grow and work within now and for future generations.
